Agricultural College, Warangal celebrates Green Graduation ceremony on 26th November, 2025

To mark the constitution day of India, the Agricultural College, Warangal, on 26th November, 2025, as per the PJTAU University guidelines vide Memo.No.220(25)/DSA Peshi/PJTAU/2025, dt:15-10-2025 of the Dean of Student Affairs, PJTAU, organised a Green Graduation ceremony with exuberance and in a festive manner. About 200 first-year admitted batch students and faculty have participated in the celebration. The programme aimed to accelerate the greenery in the campus, create awareness and usher in environmental responsibility and sustainable practices amongst the newly joined Agricultural students who are beacons of hope for future. On the occasion, saplings were planted by the newly admitted first-year UG students at the prominent locations of Ag. College. Various plant spp. were taken for planting on the occasion, and students were informed to take the responsibility of nurturing the plants till their presence on the campus under the guidance of the Green Graduation Monitoring Committee. The programme was co-ordinated by Dr. J Narendar, Convener, Green Graduation Committee and Farm Superintendent, Ag. College, Warangal. Malabar Neem, Asoka, and Almond tree spp. were planted near the volleyball court adjacent to the boys' hostel. Dr. V. Ravinder Naik, Associate Dean, Sri M.Praveen Kumar, Administrative Officer, Dr. S. Malathi, Professor and Head, and Dr. B. Vidhyadhar, Professor, all teaching and non-teaching faculty, and newly admitted first-year students participated in the programme with enthusiasm. The campus witnessed a festive atmosphere.
