The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic favour at BJR Agricultural College, Sircilla on 15th August 2025. Sri. L. Raja, OISA initiated the programme, briefing the importance and significance of the day. The Associate Dean, Dr. K.B. Suneetha Devi unfurled the national flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem by student and staff. Dr. S. Suneetha Devi, staff and students paid floral tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their life for the nation Independence. Later, the Associate Dean gave impressive speech about the historic day and addressed the students that india aiming for vision Viksit Bharath @ 2047 to transform the nation into developed entity by encompassing diverse facets of development such as innovations, economic prosperity environment sustainability and effective governance. Sri. L. Raja, OISA addressed the students while a academic achievement is important, it is equally vital to recognise the participation in extra-circular activities promotes mental and physical health of the students. Later, the Associate Dean, OISA along with students attended the Independence Day celebrations held at district Collectorate office, Sircilla. Dr. Razia sultana, Professor, Dept of GPBR and Dr R.
