Report on Independence Day Celebrations at Agricultural College, Aswaraopet, PJTAU on 15-08-2025

The Agricultural College, Aswaraopet, PJTAU celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15th August, 2025 with due respect and patriotic spirit. The programme commenced with flag hoisting by Dr. Hemantha Kumar, Associate Dean followed by the National Anthem. The Chief Guest Dr. Hemantha Kumar garu addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of freedom and responsibilities towards the nation. Further, Dr. M. Ramprasad highlighted the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, the progress of our nation and the responsibilities of citizens in nation-building. NSS PO Dr. Jhansi Rani added that Today’s India needs not only remembrance of the past but also commitment for the future. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the competitions held as part of the celebrations. The programme was successfully organized with enthusiastic participation from students, teaching and non teaching employs.
